Sketchnotes, where have you been all my life? I learned about this note taking method as a grad student, and have been using it ever since. This is what I use to prepare my students for their Unit tests and they ask for it every time.

The highs and lows of copyright- there is a lot to be worried about internet and intellectual property. We were asked to create a comic displaying this and this is what I created.

One of the courses required us to learn how to edit photos and other media online. This was a fun and interesting way to incorporate technology into a seemingly mundane task.

Screencasting is a skill that I would love to utilize for my students. We went 1-1 this year with laptops, and this would have made my life so much easier at the beginning of the year. Rather than verbally explaining dozens of times, I could have simply created a "how to" with one of these!

For an assignment, we were asked to create a short youtube video for a day in the life with a catch, it is year 2048. I had not experienced PowToons before, so explored this website for potential use in the classroom setting

This is my basecamp- this website is to be used in a professional setting to connect us with our masters program at the CU Denver, potential employers and the general public. This website is currently in progress.

A silly little video with a voiceover, but a useful skill nonetheless. I could easily translate this into a classroom activity that is engaging and student centered.

This was an assignment where we were given very loose guidelines to create an add for an object that had not yet been invented. My invention was the "ICI-Cool Comforter"- The world's first cooling blanket/pad.

This was another project for this program that snowballed into something real. We were asked to create a mobile friendly website that our students could use. I actually have kept this going, and my students love it. They're always asking me if they can find stuff from class (documents) online or videos, etc.
